Kirovsk is located in the Murmansk region, in northwestern Russia, not far from Finland and Norway. The nearest town is Apatity 16 km. The distance to Murmansk is 175 km. Population – 27 250.

Located 370 m above sea level. The main advantage of the city is the Khibiny mountains. Khibiny is especially good for skiing.
