The Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal ski area

They are without any question the most popular and most famous piece of winter sports equipment: skis.

It´s no wonder that in the Allgäu and Kleinwalsertal, skiing is sport, passion and enjoyment at the same time because we have the perfect conditions for endless slope pleasure. On approximately 140 days from December till May, skiers will find 130 perfectly groomed slope kilometers here. More than 70 slopes of all levels of difficulty guarantee skiing fun for children and adults, beginners and pros, nature lovers and action fans. Snow-reliability is guaranteed by our favorable geographical location and modern snow-making technology.

Skiing between Germany and Austria

Our region impresses skiing lovers every year anew with its diverse slopes and modern lifts. The new 10-person-gondola Ifen I & II in the Kleinwalsertal offer more comfort and safety on the way to the perfect skiing adventure.

It was never more fun to be spoilt for choice

Nebelhorn or Ifen? Oberstdorf or Riezlern? Allgäu or Kleinwalsertal? Skiing in Germany or Austria? A choice which is usually completed once your holiday is finally booked. In our two-country skiing area, you can make that choice every day anew during breakfast. And on 130km of slopes, everyone will find the right place to go.

Families are also being spoilt for choice because the possibilities for little skiers are extremely diverse. Children love for example Sölli´s winter world at the Söllereck. Three magic carpets – one of them even free of charge – and one t-bar lift make the first “steps” in the snow very easy. And Burmi´s winter world at the Ifen makes children´s hearts skip a beat, too, because you can find magic carpets and an easy exercise area here as well. A special highlight for families is definitely the night skiing. This special pleasure is possible on Wednesdays at the ´Kessler´ lift. Thanks to the flood light, the slopes can also be used in the darkness.
