Q Ski Monterosa

SKI MOUNTAINEERING SKI LIFTS
For those who want to conquer the descents, the Monterosa Ski lifts are the ideal solution allowing all lovers of the "leather" to live in absolute freedom and safety the spaces of the Mountain dedicated to them.

The Monterosa Ski tracks , cared for and specially marked for a level training or simply to fully enjoy the surrounding nature by regaining possession of their spaces, are itineraries designed specifically for ski mountaineers on which to have fun without disturbing or creating dangerous encounters on the downhill slopes.

In Val d'Ayas a route starts from Ciarcerio and goes up to Colle Bettaforca, while in Valle di Gressoney you can go up from Sant'Anna to Colle Bettaforca and from Gabiet to Passo dei Salati.

All three tracks * are constantly monitored and beaten by snow cats, starting right next to the ski lifts. The ski mountaineer can easily reach the top of the slopes, stop in the refuge and get on the slopes, enjoying the surrounding environment without worries in complete safety.

It is possible to access the groomed slopes dedicated to ski mountaineers in the upper part of the ski area by purchasing the ski mountaineering day ticket for 10.00 euros or the seasonal one for 80.00 euros.
The skipass ** allows you to take advantage of the Frachey-Alpe Ciarcerio funicular, in Val d'Ayas, and the Stafal-Sant'Anna cable car and the Stafal-Gabiet cable car, in the Gressoney Valley, to go up to where the dedicated slopes will be beaten .

Finally, the highly anticipated X edition of the now famous MonterosaSkiAlp , a night ski mountaineering competition, which will take place in 2022, is not to be missed.

Monterosa Ski is a secret to discover. The District is located in the heart of the Italian Alps, at the foot of Monte Rosa, the second highest massif in Europe. It is a vast system of ski resorts: the main “3 Valleys ski on foot” area is completed by the five resort stations, small pearls of the skiable domain.
The ki resort is divided between Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, reaching 3,250 meters in height, between the territories of Alagna Valsesia, Gressoney-La-Trinité and Champoluc. The small stations instead offer in each of the four valleys, infinite activities on the snow at a lower price and at lower altitudes, and are therefore particularly suitable for families and beginners.

The possibilities on the slopes therefore range from the “baptism of skiing” to decidedly more demanding descents to cover over km. of perfectly groomed courses, with a vertical development approaching 2,000 meters. Breathtaking views, efficient lifts and suggestive descents guarantee fun for everyone and a pinch of adrenaline for the more daring.

Do not miss the Fun Slope Bettaforca , the new Snowpark Alpe di Mera , the ski mountaineering routes , the night descents on the international Leonardo David Special slope and the Monterosa Freeride Paradise , the realm of off-piste skiing, unsolved snow and adrenaline to be experienced on the foils Monterosa Ski is also easy to reach from major cities in northern Italy, with travel times ranging from one to three hours.
