International experience

With international experience and passion for water sports, Jonas Bagger Sørensen opened Eastwind on Bornholm in 2009. Eastwind, has since put Bornholm on the map, as one of Denmark’s funniest and best surf destinations for beginners and experienced. Eastwind is today Bornholm’s largest water sports center.

We have assembled a very passionate instructor team who will love helping you or your loved ones get started with windsurfing, kitesurfing, Stand Up Paddle surfing and sea kayaking. We are proud that we have some of Denmark’s profiles within our activities.

Secure activities

At Eastwind, we take safety into account. Our courses are designed so that our students learn about safety and know what to do in an emergency situation. All our instructors have completed instructor courses for our activities and you are insured against accidents with us. At Balka Strand we have a lifeboat available should the need arise.
